Process Service
|
|
We perform service of due
process, delivery of subpoenas,
writs, garnishments, and other legal
papers throughout North Georgia.
Expedited services are accepted if
we are in a position to assign a
process server. We are also
capable of obtaining our own special
appointments in counties that do not
appoint permanent process servers as
well as filing the affidavit of
service with the court once service
is perfected. Process Service is when legal documents from the court system are delivered to individuals named in those documents.
They are normally delivered by a process server who serves the documents in accordance with the legal
guidelines of the particular court that has
jurisdiction. This may mean handing the documents to the named person or
handing the documents to someone in the same household or business. Once delivered, the process server provides proof that the papers
were served through an Affidavit of Service which is notarized and returned to the presiding court or the party who requested
the service
Sometimes the people being served are trying to "dodge" the service. They know a complaint & summons, a subpoena, a garnishment, or other document
is on the way and they want to avoid service or delay complying as long as possible. They may hide behind a receptionist, closed doors, concierges, spouses, or
other relatives. We are experts at analyzing the particular situation of the person to be served and finding a way to get through the blocks so that they
can be served quickly and your case can move ahead. In most cases we are even able to get a covert photo of the process service being delivered. Call
us to learn more about how we do this.
Hiring a Legal Process Server is an important step in a court case. The process server should be someone who is experienced in serving
legal documents and who understands the laws related to this activity. If the service is not performed in accordance with
the law, it may not be a valid service and will result in a delay of your case and the requirement to repeat the process.
When you need to get legal papers served, we are there to help. Even if you don't know where your subject lives or works, we will find them and deliver the papers quickly. We use all of the technology available today to assist in the service: investigative databases, Internet search engines, deep-web databases, pretexts, and good old shoe leather.
We have been appointed by the Fulton
County Superior Court and the Cobb
County Superior Court and Magistrate
Court as permanent process servers.
We serve papers in other areas and
for other courts by obtaining appropriate appointments as Special Process Servers. |
